How could anyone resist a title like How to Give Her Absolute Pleasure? Lou Paget’s book is another easy read filled with helpful hints and facts. She starts with precontact advice and then moves onto in-depth methods and advice on pleasuring a woman to the limits. The precontact advice is about all the other things that make for good sex for women apart from the physical. This is where men so often fall down, making a woman feel safe and appreciated for more than her body, taking things slow, wooing her like a gentleman but allowing the tension to build. In one of the last chapters she gives advice to men about lasting longer … for her sake and ultimately yours as well.
Based on her seminars, given to both men and women, she has plenty of first-hand comments on what women like and dislike that should give any man the confidence that he is being lead by the other side into their deepest untold secrets!
I think that the chapters on toys and lubricants were very comprehensive, although they may need a little up dating. They do give a good overview of what is available in type rather than detail. It is the kind of book that you would need a complicit partner near at hand to help work out the practicalities of detailed positions and methods.
Her advice on safer sex and diseases is really helpful and an area that few other books on the same topic cover. She explains the female anatomy well which leads on very logically to the advice that follows about stimulation and positions, which again is very helpful with line drawings rather than photos. Some of her variations on the basic positons taxed my imagination a little, which is where practice would be helpful.
I especially liked the constant link of pleasure with health alongside testimony from both men and women who have seen the benefits of great sex outside the bedroom. She also constantly challenges the need for liberty of body and mind and an adventurous and curious nature to keep sex interesting and rewarding.
